Art Nouveau Eye Candy

by Laughing Stock on September 20, 2010

The Art Nouveau design book, Combinaisons Ornementales, was a collaboration between Maurice Verneuil, George Auriol and Alphonse Mucha published in 1901. It comprises 60 plates of elegant designs which range from Mucha’s abstractions to Verneuil’s flower motifs.

This wonderful collection of images can be accessed at  Archive.org and the  NYPL Digital Gallery , both treasure troves of image magic. Eye candy is dandy!

We believe in the visual magic of imagery, both historical and contemporary. Now that you’ve enjoyed a look at the past, visit  Laughing Stock for you current illustration needs. We can help you tell your unique story.
